Life as an intern at Team6

Who run the world? According to us this will be the students of today, the game developers of tomorrow! And what better way to shape them by let them experience the game industry in full glory.

This experience happens twice a year, in February and September, where a selection of the best and brightest will start their internship.

We have asked our future world leaders to offer us a glimpse in their encounter with the daily responsibilities of a full fledged Team6 intern. On top of that they will provide our next generation interns with a few words of wisdom.

Disclaimer: Photo’s were taken in October 2021, before the Covid-19 regulations.

Vincent, Producer INTERN

If I had to summarize my experience at Team6 then I would choose the word Exciting. Everyday there is something new and exciting to learn at Team6. Whenever I ran into problems there were always people that would jump in and help me out in an instant! The internship at Team6 helped me to understand how a game development studio functions with its hands-on approach and directly working with the awesome people from the different departments!

For any future Production interns: Don’t be shy to ask questions to other departments, starting as an intern in a growing company can be quite scary but the people at Team6 showed nothing but support for my development!

Helen, 3D Artist intern

In a few words, my time at Team6 so far has been a great learning experience and extremely helpful! As an environment art intern, I have learned all about the pipelines, tools and workflows Team6 is using to make their newest project make a good as possible, while keeping an eye on optimization. What I like most, as that I am part of an incredibly helpful and solution oriented team that is getting better and better with the day. Team6 has a pretty laid back and flexible working culture, which makes it even more easy to get along with colleagues, and even make new friends.

I’d advice any people looking for an internship to not be afraid of rejection and shoot your shot, may that be an application or just a question!

Leyla, HR Intern

At Team6, everyone is open to help you, all you need to do is ask!

I learned many things, with the most important one being critical thinking. I am proud of the fact that I could help the organization set up their new intranet, they involved me with almost every task on their to-do list. The lively company culture is just the finishing touch to make it the best place where you can do an internship.

My tip would be; never forget to add your personal touch to everything you do!

Thank you for having me Team6 ❤️
